Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based health education programs targeting underserved communities
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and outbreak investigations
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and community organizations for resource allocation
- Develop data-driven reports on health trends and program effectiveness
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with state regulations
- Provide emergency preparedness training for local stakeholders
- Advise policymakers on public health priorities and interventions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish)
- Experience with grant management and budget oversight
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours during public health emergencies
