Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community health assessment strategies using epidemiological data
- Coordinate multi-agency coalitions for disease prevention and health promotion initiatives
- Lead public health emergency preparedness planning and response protocols
- Manage grant-funded programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze health disparities and recommend policy interventions
- Conduct outreach and education sessions for community stakeholders
- Prepare comprehensive reports for local and state health authorities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with community engagement and coalition building
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
