Responsibilities
- Lead epidemiological investigations and disease surveillance programs
- Develop and implement emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Coordinate community health education initiatives and outreach campaigns
- Analyze health data trends and prepare comprehensive reports for policy makers
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local health agencies on joint initiatives
- Manage grant-funded public health programs and ensure compliance with regulations
- Train healthcare professionals and community leaders on public health best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health or healthcare administration
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R) and GIS mapping
- Demonstrated experience with emergency preparedness planning
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) preferred
- Valid California driver's license and ability to travel throughout the county
