Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and recommend strategic interventions
- Coordinate with local healthcare providers and non-profit organizations to create integrated health initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports for city council and state health department stakeholders
- Manage grant applications and ensure compliance with federal health regulations
- Lead community outreach campaigns promoting preventive healthcare measures
- Oversee program budgets and resource allocation for health initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in government or non-profit health programs
- Valid Arizona Public Health Certification (CPH) preferred
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R) and GIS mapping
- Proven ability to secure and manage federal/state health grants
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and public health emergency protocols
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) certification highly desirable
