Responsibilities
- Design and execute public health campaigns targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Collect, analyze, and interpret epidemiological data to inform policy decisions
- Coordinate with community partners to deliver health education programs
- Conduct outbreak investigations and implement intervention strategies
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and ensure compliance with regulations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership and state health agencies
- Mentor junior staff and promote evidence-based public health practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field required
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Proficient in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R)
- Demonstrated experience with community outreach and stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of Colorado public health regulations and reporting requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Colorado driver's license
