Responsibilities
- Design and implement public health education campaigns targeting Memphis communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and prioritize interventions
- Coordinate with local healthcare providers to ensure accessible preventive care services
- Develop grant proposals and manage program budgets for health initiatives
- Lead community outreach events to promote vaccination and disease prevention
- Prepare quarterly reports on program effectiveness for state leadership
- Stay current with CDC guidelines and Tennessee public health regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficient in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience developing community health partnerships in urban settings
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends for community events
