Responsibilities
- Develop and execute public health outreach programs targeting underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform strategic interventions
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and community organizations to implement health education campaigns
- Conduct health assessments and prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
- Represent the county in public health forums and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Experience with grant writing and management
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
