Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community health education programs targeting underserved populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and risks
- Coordinate cross-sector partnerships with healthcare providers, schools, and nonprofits
- Lead crisis response initiatives for public health emergencies
- Conduct health needs assessments and prepare impact reports
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Advocate for evidence-based health policies before county boards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong grant writing and project management skills
- Experience with community outreach and stakeholder engagement
- Valid Indiana driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
