Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and prioritize intervention strategies
- Develop and implement community outreach programs targeting underserved populations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate disease prevention initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive grant proposals and manage public health funding allocations
- Lead crisis response protocols during public health emergencies
- Train staff and community partners on health equity best practices
- Present findings to county commissioners and stakeholder coalitions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health experience in government or non-profit settings
- Advanced data analysis skills (SPSS, R, or SAS certification preferred)
- Proven grant writing success with secured funds exceeding $500,000
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean record
- Experience with health equity frameworks and community engagement
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects under tight deadlines
