Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to veterans across diverse medical/surgical units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects
- Adhere to strict federal healthcare regulations and VA protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Ohio
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience (VA experience preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong proficiency in electronic health record systems (e.g., CPRS)
- Ability to work rotating shifts and occasional weekends
- U.S. citizenship and favorable background investigation
- Veterans preference eligible (DD-214 required)
