Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor public health programs targeting priority health issues in Tarrant County
- Lead community health assessments and data-driven program evaluation initiatives
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships for health promotion and disease prevention campaigns
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with state health regulations
- Train healthcare professionals and community health workers on best practices
- Prepare comprehensive reports for state health officials and funding agencies
- Represent DSHS at community events and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program management
- Experience developing and implementing community-based health initiatives
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS) and health informatics
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to travel within the region
- Knowledge of Texas public health laws and regulations
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
