Responsibilities
- Develop and execute community health education programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy decisions
- Coordinate with federal/state agencies to secure grants and funding for health initiatives
- Lead crisis response efforts during public health emergencies
- Train frontline healthcare workers on culturally competent care practices
- Prepare reports for local and state health departments
- Advocate for policy changes addressing social determinants of health
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years experience in government/public health roles
- Valid California Public Health Certification
- Advanced proficiency in health data analytics tools (SPSS, SAS)
- Demonstrated experience with federal grant applications (HRSA, CDC)
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish or English/Chinese
- Knowledge of HIPAA and California health regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours during emergencies
