Responsibilities
- Develop and execute public health education campaigns targeting vulnerable populations
- Collect, analyze, and report epidemiological data for disease prevention strategies
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses for public health threats
- Collaborate with community organizations to promote health equity initiatives
- Conduct health assessments and program evaluations to measure impact
- Manage grant-funded health programs and ensure compliance with regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and public health reporting requirements
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
