Responsibilities
- Develop and execute community health assessment initiatives to identify emerging health trends and needs
- Design and implement evidence-based health education programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform public health policy recommendations
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to enhance health service accessibility
- Manage grant-funded health improvement projects and ensure compliance with reporting requirements
- Provide technical assistance to local health departments and community partners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Valid Oklahoma Public Health Practitioner certification preferred
- Advanced data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS or R
- Strong project management capabilities with experience managing budgets over $100,000
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders including government agencies and community organizations
