Responsibilities
- Develop and execute public health outreach programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and risks
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses for public health threats
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with reporting requirements
- Provide technical assistance to community organizations and healthcare providers
- Conduct health education workshops and promotional campaigns
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership and public stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Proficient in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance
- Strong bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish preferred)
- Knowledge of Milwaukee County's health landscape and demographics
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
