Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and inform policy decisions
- Collaborate with community organizations and government agencies to coordinate response initiatives
- Develop educational materials and outreach campaigns for diverse populations
- Monitor program effectiveness and prepare compliance reports for federal/state regulations
- Lead crisis response coordination during public health emergencies
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and CDC guidelines
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Advanced data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS, SAS, or R
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance requirements
- Strong bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish preferred)
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including emergency response rotations
