Responsibilities
- Coordinate veteran healthcare services across multiple VA facilities in the Greater New Orleans area
- Develop and implement patient-centered care plans for veterans with complex medical needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless healthcare delivery and compliance with federal regulations
- Analyze healthcare data to identify service gaps and recommend process improvements
- Serve as primary liaison between veterans, families, and VA healthcare providers
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness using VA performance metrics
- Provide training and guidance to staff on veteran-specific healthcare protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare coordination or federal healthcare systems
- VA-specific certification or demonstrated knowledge of VHA policies and procedures
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (e.g., VistA, Cerner)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in healthcare data interpretation
- Exceptional communication abilities for diverse stakeholder engagement
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- Valid Louisiana driver's license for facility travel
