Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting community wellness initiatives
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate multi-agency responses to public health emergencies and disease outbreaks
- Lead community health education campaigns across diverse populations
- Manage grant funding applications and compliance for health initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports for city council and health department leadership
- Maintain compliance with federal/state public health regulations (HIPAA, CDC guidelines)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state funding processes
- Strong cross-cultural communication and stakeholder management skills
- Valid Arizona driver's license and ability to travel to community sites
