What You'll Do:
- Design and implement public health education campaigns targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify disease trends and inform policy decisions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations
- Manage grant-funded health programs and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Lead emergency preparedness responses for public health crises
Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate public health intervention strategies
- Conduct community health assessments and surveillance activities
- Coordinate vaccination programs and disease prevention initiatives
- Prepare reports for public health compliance and funding requests
- Train healthcare staff and community health workers
- Advocate for policy changes supporting population health
- Manage program budgets and resource allocation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in government/public health administration
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Advanced knowledge of HIPAA, CDC, and Texas DSHS regulations
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Bilingual in English/Spanish required
- Experience with grant writing and program evaluation
- Valid Texas driver's license
