Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community health assessment programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate outbreak response protocols and emergency preparedness initiatives
- Collaborate with local health departments and community organizations on health education campaigns
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders and legislative bodies
- Lead cross-functional teams addressing social determinants of health
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation preferred
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and compliance
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and public health reporting requirements
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Valid Illinois driver's license and ability to travel statewide
