Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data-driven public health strategies targeting Boston's underserved communities
- Lead community health assessments to identify emerging health trends and intervention priorities
- Coordinate cross-sector partnerships with healthcare providers, NGOs, and local businesses
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Design and deliver culturally competent health education programs for diverse populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform policy recommendations and resource allocation
- Represent the county at public health forums and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years experience in public health program implementation or community outreach
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS) and GIS mapping
- Demonstrated success in securing and managing public health grants
- Strong cultural competency with Boston's diverse communities
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience with local government health initiatives or similar public sector roles
