Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community health assessment programs to identify emerging health risks
- Coordinate with local healthcare providers to deliver public health education campaigns
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform public health policy recommendations
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives including vaccination outreach programs
- Lead cross-departmental collaborations for emergency preparedness response
- Conduct health equity audits to address disparities in underserved populations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and public health board meetings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Valid Kentucky Public Health Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in SPSS, R, or SAS for health data analysis
- Strong experience with community coalition building and stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of CDC guidelines and HIPAA compliance requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for field visits
