Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health education campaigns for diverse Omaha communities
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and analyze health data trends
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses and vaccination programs
- Collaborate with local healthcare providers on community health initiatives
- Monitor compliance with public health regulations and standards
- Write grant proposals to secure funding for health programs
- Train community health workers and volunteers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field required
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS/R
- Experience developing community health interventions
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Valid Nebraska driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bilingual in English/Spanish highly desirable
