Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based health education programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Conduct epidemiological investigations and disease surveillance for reportable conditions
- Coordinate community vaccination clinics and emergency preparedness drills
- Analyze public health data to identify emerging health trends and resource needs
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and non-profits on health initiatives
- Manage grant-funded projects totaling $500K+ annually
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and state health authorities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years experience in community health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
- Proficiency in SPSS/R for statistical analysis and data visualization
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with federal grant reporting (CDC/HRSA)
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) candidates strongly encouraged
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends for community events
