Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community health assessment programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Coordinate disease surveillance and outbreak response protocols
- Manage public health education campaigns across digital and traditional channels
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform strategic health interventions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and nonprofits on health equity initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive grant proposals and manage federal/state funding allocations
- Train community health workers on evidence-based practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Advanced proficiency in SPSS/R for statistical analysis
- Demonstrated success in securing public health grants
- Experience with community coalition building and stakeholder engagement
- Valid Kansas driver's license with clean record
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
