Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health interventions targeting underserved communities
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and analyze health data trends
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and community organizations to address health disparities
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Design health education campaigns and outreach programs
- Prepare comprehensive reports for public health board meetings
- Respond to public health emergencies and coordinate crisis protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Advanced data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS/R
- Strong grant writing and budget management experience
- Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders
- Louisiana driver's license and ability to travel across parish
- Knowledge of Healthy People 2030 objectives and CDC guidelines
