Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health outreach programs targeting underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and risks
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and community organizations to enhance service delivery
- Prepare comprehensive reports on health initiatives and outcomes for county stakeholders
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Lead public health emergency response initiatives
- Provide health education and resources to county residents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and public health regulations
- Excellent communication skills with diverse populations
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
