Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting priority community needs
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and analyze health data to identify trends and risks
- Coordinate community outreach and education initiatives on health topics like immunization and chronic disease prevention
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies to build strategic partnerships
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy recommendations for public health decision-making
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Respond to public health emergencies and provide crisis communication support
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS)
- Strong knowledge of CDC guidelines and local health regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with diverse audiences
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Valid Ohio driver's license with reliable transportation
- Experience with grant writing and program evaluation
