Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health education campaigns targeting vulnerable populations
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and analyze health data to identify emerging trends
- Coordinate with community organizations to deliver preventive health services
- Develop emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Prepare comprehensive reports on health outcomes and program effectiveness
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve access to preventive care
- Advise policymakers on public health legislation and resource allocation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R)
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean driving record
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Experience with grant writing and federal funding applications
- Strong bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish)
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health confidentiality regulations
