Responsibilities
- Design and execute public health intervention programs targeting underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and recommend actionable solutions
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies to ensure program alignment
- Develop educational materials and conduct workshops on health literacy and preventive care
- Monitor program effectiveness through KPI tracking and prepare comprehensive impact reports
- Stay current with federal/state health regulations and ensure compliance with CDC guidelines
- Represent the department at public forums and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience developing culturally competent health education materials
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish preferred
- Demonstrated success in grant writing and resource allocation
