Responsibilities
- Develop and execute public health education campaigns for underserved communities
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and analyze local health trends
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses for public health threats
- Manage grant-funded health programs and ensure compliance with regulations
- Liaise with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations
- Prepare detailed reports for public health policy recommendations
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness using KPIs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Valid Louisiana Public Health Certification
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with community outreach and stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of CDC and OSHA health regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours during public health emergencies
