Responsibilities

- Manage emergency preparedness initiatives including disease outbreak responses
- Prepare detailed reports on health metrics for county commissioners and public stakeholders
- Oversee grant-funded health projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Advocate for health equity policies addressing social determinants of health
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of public health program implementation experience
- Valid Texas Department of State Health Services certification
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Demonstrated experience with community health assessment methodologies
- Strong grant management and budget oversight capabilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Spanish fluency preferred for community engagement
