Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting Arlington's diverse communities
- Lead epidemiological investigations and disease surveillance for county-wide health threats
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Analyze health data to identify trends and recommend intervention strategies
- Collaborate with community partners to promote health equity and access
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and ensure compliance with regulations
- Conduct health education workshops and outreach events
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Valid Texas Public Health Certification
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (e.g., SAS, SPSS)
- Experience with emergency preparedness planning
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across government agencies
