Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health education
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and outbreak investigations using advanced data analytics
- Collaborate with community organizations to design culturally competent health interventions
- Prepare and respond to public health emergencies following federal and state protocols
- Analyze health disparities data to inform policy recommendations for underserved populations
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R) and GIS mapping
- Demonstrated experience with community engagement strategies
- Valid Illinois driver's license and ability to travel county-wide
- Knowledge of Title VI and ADA compliance requirements
