Responsibilities
- Develop and execute community health assessment surveys to identify priority health needs
- Coordinate disease prevention programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and outbreaks
- Forge partnerships with healthcare providers, nonprofits, and local businesses
- Secure grant funding for public health initiatives through compelling proposals
- Train frontline healthcare workers on updated protocols and best practices
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and public health advisory boards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required
- 3+ years experience in community health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Advanced data analysis skills (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bilingual in English/Spanish required
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health confidentiality regulations
