Responsibilities
- Develop and execute public health intervention strategies targeting Omaha's diverse communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and prioritize resource allocation
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Lead community outreach initiatives to promote health equity and access to care
- Collaborate with local healthcare providers to implement preventive health programs
- Prepare grant proposals and manage program budgets
- Train public health staff on emerging health threats and best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Strong interpersonal skills for community collaboration
- Knowledge of Nebraska public health regulations
- Valid Nebraska driver's license
