Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based health promotion programs targeting underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform strategic interventions
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships to address social determinants of health
- Prepare comprehensive reports for state policymakers and community stakeholders
- Lead crisis response initiatives during public health emergencies
- Mentor junior staff and supervise program implementation teams
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years experience in government or non-profit health programs
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Valid California driver's license
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credential preferred
- Spanish bilingual proficiency strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and budget management
