Responsibilities
- Design and implement public health intervention programs targeting chronic disease prevention
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and prioritize resource allocation
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships including healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations
- Develop grant proposals and secure federal/state funding for health initiatives
- Conduct community health assessments and deliver evidence-based recommendations
- Oversee program evaluation metrics and prepare compliance reports for state/federal agencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years experience in government/public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficient in SPSS/R for statistical analysis and data visualization
- Demonstrated success in securing health-related grants ($500k+)
- Strong knowledge of Georgia public health regulations and Title X requirements
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement
