Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and community needs
- Coordinate multi-agency health initiatives with schools, hospitals, and non-profits
- Design educational campaigns on topics like vaccination, nutrition, and mental health
- Prepare grant proposals and manage public health budgets
- Conduct community health assessments and prepare impact reports
- Advocate for health equity policies at local and state levels
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Valid Maryland driver's license
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish or another community language
- Strong knowledge of CDC and NIH guidelines
