Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to public health data during night shifts, ensuring timely intervention for emerging health concerns
- Coordinate emergency response protocols and resource deployment during off-hours
- Conduct remote case investigations and contact tracing for communicable diseases
- Generate and analyze overnight health surveillance reports for leadership review
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams during after-hours health crises
- Maintain accurate documentation of night shift activities and outcomes
- Participate in rotating on-call duties for critical public health incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in public health or healthcare administration
- Valid California driver's license (may be required for field deployments)
- Proficiency with health information systems and remote collaboration tools
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting health data trends
- Certification in Incident Command System (ICS-100/200) preferred
- Experience with telehealth or remote patient monitoring systems
