Responsibilities
- Analyze public health data to identify emerging trends and policy gaps
- Develop evidence-based recommendations for state health initiatives
- Coordinate with federal agencies (CDC, CMS) and local health departments
- Prepare legislative briefings and policy implementation reports
- Lead cross-functional teams on public health emergency response
- Monitor compliance with federal/state healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of government or public health policy experience
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Knowledge of Texas Health & Safety Code and federal healthcare regulations
- Strong written communication for policy documents and presentations
- Experience with intergovernmental collaboration frameworks
- Valid Texas driver's license
