Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and community vulnerabilities
- Develop evidence-based health education campaigns targeting underserved Detroit neighborhoods
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Manage grant-funded programs focused on chronic disease prevention
- Conduct community needs assessments and program evaluations
- Leverage data visualization tools to present health outcomes to policymakers
- Foster cross-sector partnerships with healthcare providers and community organizations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Demonstrated experience with health equity initiatives in urban settings
- Valid Michigan driver's license with reliable transportation
- Exceptional grant writing and budget management skills
