Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting Nashville's vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform strategic interventions
- Coordinate cross-agency partnerships with local healthcare providers and community organizations
- Lead crisis response activities for public health emergencies
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy recommendations for senior leadership
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated experience with grant management and budget oversight
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with policy development experience
- Ability to work collaboratively across diverse stakeholders in high-pressure environments
