Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and data analysis to identify emerging health trends
- Collaborate with community stakeholders to design culturally responsive health interventions
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state health regulations
- Lead community outreach initiatives including health screenings and educational workshops
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership and public health policy recommendations
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Strong proficiency in epidemiological data analysis tools (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Proven ability to build collaborative partnerships with diverse community groups
- Experience with grant writing and federal compliance (CDC, HRSA)
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
