Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Conduct community health assessments and data analysis to identify emerging health trends
- Coordinate multi-sector partnerships with hospitals, schools, and community organizations
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
- Lead public health emergency preparedness planning and response activities
- Design educational campaigns on topics like vaccination access and mental health resources
- Prepare reports for county commissioners and state health department officials
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Valid Massachusetts Public Health License
- Experience with grant writing and federal reporting requirements
- Demonstrated success in community engagement and coalition building
- Strong written communication skills for policy development
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred
