Responsibilities
- Analyze complex municipal policies and legislative impacts using quantitative and qualitative methods
- Develop data-driven reports and recommendations for city council and executive leadership
- Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives for community development projects
- Manage stakeholder engagement with residents, nonprofits, and government agencies
- Monitor federal/state compliance requirements for grant-funded programs
- Present findings to public officials and community stakeholders
- Track performance metrics for city policy implementations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of policy analysis or government experience
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Deep understanding of Tennessee municipal governance structures
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with public presentation experience
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
- U.S. citizenship required for government clearance
- Experience with public sector budgeting processes
