Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts on state agencies
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using advanced statistical methods
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs for executive leadership
- Collaborate with interdepartmental task forces on cross-functional initiatives
- Present findings to legislative committees and stakeholder groups
- Monitor federal compliance requirements and update state protocols
- Lead data visualization projects using Tableau/Power BI
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years of policy analysis experience in government sector
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Ohio residency required upon hire
- Valid driver's license for statewide travel
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
- Advanced knowledge of Ohio Revised Code and administrative procedures
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills
