Responsibilities
- Analyze complex legislative proposals and regulatory impacts for state agencies
- Conduct research on socioeconomic trends and policy effectiveness
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and recommendations for senior leadership
- Coordinate interdepartmental initiatives to align with state strategic goals
- Present findings to legislative committees and stakeholder groups
- Monitor federal policy changes and assess implications for Pennsylvania
- Manage grant programs supporting community development initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of policy analysis or government experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated experience with stakeholder engagement processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for complex audiences
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania state government operations and regulations
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (required for travel)
