Responsibilities
- Analyze complex urban policies and recommend evidence-based solutions for community development
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research on housing affordability, transportation, and environmental sustainability
- Prepare detailed policy briefs and presentations for City Council and stakeholder meetings
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to implement strategic initiatives
- Monitor legislative changes and assess local impact on Raleigh residents
- Engage with community members through public forums and feedback sessions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in government or public sector analysis
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R) and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated experience with policy impact assessment and stakeholder engagement
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information
- Knowledge of North Carolina local government regulations
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
