Responsibilities
- Research and analyze state legislation, regulations, and policy trends
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for senior leadership
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for legislative committees
- Coordinate cross-agency initiatives on human services programs
- Conduct stakeholder engagement with community organizations
- Monitor federal policy changes and assess Georgia-specific impacts
- Manage data collection and analysis using advanced research tools
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years of policy analysis experience in government or nonprofit
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS/R) and data visualization
- Deep understanding of Georgia state government operations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Experience with legislative research and stakeholder management
